At this workshop, participants had the opportunity to learn about processes related to research data management (writing a research data plan, FAIR principles, data publication, handling sensitive data, data repositories).

The initiative of this workshop came from the Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Sera "Torlak" and their librarian, Irene Nježić, and the librarians of the Institute of Technical Sciences SASA Milica Ševkušić, the Institute for Medical Research Milica Ninković, the Institute of Vegetable Crops Smederevska Palanka Ljiljana Radisavljević, the Institute of Nuclear Sciences "Vinča" Obrad Vučkovac, the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" Zorica Janković, as well as Dr. Matija Zlatar, senior research associate from the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy. The initiative was supported by the SAIGE project helping in organization of this event.

The workshop was attended by 36 participants, researchers and librarians from 19 institutes and faculties.
