During the ceremonial part, esteemed guests, including Dr. Jelena Begović, the Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Academician Zoran Popović, the Vice-President of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Prof. Dr. Zorica Vujić, the Vice-Rector for Finance of the University of Belgrade, and Dr. Mirjana Mihailović, the Director of the Institute, addressed the audience. Dr. Mihailović expressed gratitude for the kind words of important guests and colleagues and provided a comprehensive overview of the Institute's activities from the previous year. She also outlined guidelines for ensuring the continuity and quality of scientific work. As a tradition, certificates of appreciation were presented to doctors of science who had earned this esteemed title during the past year at the Institute.
