Dr. Milica Pešić

Dr. Milica Pešić is an accomplished project coordinator with over 20 years of experience in molecular biology and cancer research. She is currently the head of the Department of Neurobiology at her institute. Her work focuses on fundamental research and technology transfer, particularly identifying anticancer compounds capable of overcoming or evading multidrug resistance. Dr. Pešić is a valuable mentor to PhD students and is a member of several professional societies and management boards. She is also the vice president of the Serbian Association for Cancer Research. Her experience and expertise are reflected in her 100+ research papers published in highly respected journals with an h-index of 26 and 2000+ citations.
