Еnvironmental pollution with heavy metals is a common problem in the world, including China and Serbia. Phytoremediation, especially the remediation of contaminated soil by ornamental plants, is a green, environmentally friendly pollution control method. It is an effective and highly promising technology that can successfully replace expensive and complex physical and chemical methods for removing heavy metals from the soil. Тhis project aims to establish a Joint Laboratory for teaching and research cooperation and exchange, achieving complementary advantages and effectively improving scientific research level in the field of phytoremediation.
