The bilateral scientific cooperation project with the People's Republic of China entitled "Comparative Analysis of High-Quality Germplasm Resources in China and Serbia: A Study on the Efficacy Components of Traditional Herbal Medicine Using Spatiotemporal Multidimensional Technology" will deal with the genetic background and comparative analysis and diversity of metabolites of wild plant species from the Balkans and their cultivated varieties in China, within the genera Digitalis, Salvia and Scutellaria, with a focus on the medicinal potential of these plants. Using modern analytical techniques and methods, the project will aim to improve the understanding of the medicinal properties of these plants and identify new bioactive components.
