Nina Pokimica
Nina Pokimica was born in 1996 in Raška. She graduated from the Raška Gymnasium in 2015. In the academic year 2015/2016 she enrolled in Undergraduate academic studies at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. She obtained her bachelor's degree in 2019. She defended her Master's thesis on the topic "Establishment and validation of the SNaPshot method for the analysis of point polymorphisms on the Y chromosome in order to determine the most represented branches of haplogroup H among Roma from the territory of Serbia" in September 2020. She enrolled in doctoral academic studies in the academic year 2022/2023, at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade, module Physiology and molecular biology of plants. Her areas of research interest include molecular mechanisms of growth and development and perception and signal transduction in plants, bioinformatics, and plant-soil interactions.
