Research associate Branka Bajić from the Department of Genetic Research of IBISS participated in the training "Conservation Management & Leadership Reunion: Stakeholder Engagement & Project Management", from 12 to 16 December 2022 in Mataram, Lombok, Indonesia.

The organizer, the Conservation Leadership Programme (CLP), is a partnership of three international conservation organizations (BirdLife International, Fauna&Flora International and Wildlife Conservation Society).

This workshop was the final step of the "Conservation Management & Leadership" training Branka completed online in 2020 as part of a cross-border project with Romania ("Transboundary conservation of horseshoe bats in the Romanian-Serbian Iron Gates"), also funded by the CLP.

The training in Indonesia was attended by 23 young conservation biology leaders from more than ten countries. The aim was to strengthen and increase capacity for conservation at local, regional and international scale.
