As part of the call "EU for a green agenda in Serbia" - Challenge for innovative solutions for the green transition of the Serbian economy, the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia will finance a project in which the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" is the project holder.
The coordinators of the project "Phytoremediation of winery’s wastewaters in pilot site of the Pusula family winery using constructed wetlands" are Dr. Uroš Živković and Dr. Maja Raković.
The "EU Green Agenda in Serbia" program is funded and technically supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia. It is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia and in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden and the European Investment Bank, with additional funding provided by the Governments of Sweden, Switzerland and the Republic of Serbia.
Other project participants are Dr. Nataša Barišić Klisarić, Department of Evolutionary Biology, and Dr. Nataša Popović, Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection IBISS. Colleagues from the Department of Hydraulic and Environmental Engineering of Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade are also participating in the project, Dr. Aleksandar Đukić and Dr. Vladana N. Rajaković-Ognjanović.
The project is being carried out in cooperation with the "Pusula" winery from Miličinice near Valjevo.
