At the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" - National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, on December 6, 2024, the 31st expert meeting of the Serbian Society of Parasitologists was held for the first time at this Institute. The meeting was hosted by Dr. Milan Miljević from the Department of Genetic Research, a regular member of the Serbian Society of Parasitologists.

Dr. Miljević presented the opening lecture titled: "Molecular analysis of Hydatigera parva: Parasite identification in autochthonous Iberian small mammals, Spain". Following the opening lecture, the President of the Society, Dr. Olgica Đurković Đaković, conducted a workshop titled: "How the results of the CLIMOS Project can be most beneficial to the citizens of Serbia."
