It is a pleasure for the STRIMHealth team from the University of Belgrade – Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS) to announce the 2nd Training on Targeted and Non-targeted MS-data Analysis in Lipidomics that will be hosted at IBISS (Belgrade, Serbia) from March 11 – 12, 2025.

The main topics of the training are:
 Quick Introduction to Lipidomics and Lipid Annotation
 Hands-on MZmine – LC-MS/MS Data Processing: MZwizard Quickstart
 Hands-on MZmine Lipid Annotation Using m/z, Retention Time, and MS/MS Spectra
 Hands-on Data Post-Processing in Excel
 Hands-on Statistical Analysis Using MetaboAnalyst

This intensive two-day training will consist of both theoretical and practical sessions. The theoretical lectures will be given by Prof. Matej Orešič and Dr. Anh Hoang Nguyen from Örebro University, while Dr. Nguyen will lead the practical sessions with assistance from our researchers. The official language of the training is English.

The 2nd Training in Lipidomics is open to PhD students or employees of the University of Belgrade or Serbian partner institutions. Early-stage researchers are especially encouraged to apply.
