The Open Science Team of the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" (IBISS) was established in 2025 with the aim of implementing the Open Science Platform of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, in accordance with the Rulebook on Open Science of IBISS. The team provides support to researchers in the application of the principles of open science through education, counseling and development of good practices in the field of open access, research data management, research ethics, transparency, citizen involvement in science and increasing the visibility and reusability of the results of the Institute's scientific research work.

The key activities of the Open Science Team are:

• Providing support to researchers in depositing publications, research data and other scientific results in RADaR;
• Update and revise the instructions for depositing in RADaR;
• Performs quality control and integrity of metadata and files deposited in RADaR;
• Ensures compliance with copyright and license conditions deposited in RADaR;
• Organizes training of researchers on topics related to open science and the implementation of the Rulebook;
• Monitor the implementation of the Platform in IBISS;
• Prepares and submits to the Director of the Institute and the Scientific Council periodic reports on the success of the implementation of the IBISS Open Science Rulebook.
