The Serbian Society for Parasitology at the 30th expert meeting, held on April 26, 2024, at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Novi Sad, awarded the annual prize for scientific research for the year 2023 to Dr. Milan Miljević from the Department of Genetic Research, IBISS and Prof. Dr. Olivera Bjelić Čabrilo from the Department of Biology and Ecology at the Faculty of Sciences, UNS.

Dr. Milan Miljević, as the first author, presented the paper titled "Cryptic species Hydatigera kamiyai and other taeniid metacestodes in the populations of small mammals in Serbia".
