Winners of the Goran Ljubijankić Foundation Award for 2024

The Goran Ljubijankić Foundation has presented awards for the best doctoral dissertations and master's theses in the field of molecular biology defended in 2024.

Among the awarded doctoral dissertations is the thesis completed at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade (IBISS):

Dr. Ana Milošević for the thesis "The Impact of Experimental Autoimmune Encephalomyelitis on the Hypothalamic-Pituitary-Gonadal Axis in Dark Agouti Rats of Both Sexes", mentored by Dr. Ivana Bjelobaba, Principal Research Fellow at the IBISS and Prof. Dr. Danijela Laketa, Associate Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Biology.

Among the awarded master's theses is the work completed at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" - Institute of National Importance for the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade (IBISS):

Ana Stupar for the paper "Transient expression of Nepeta grandiflora leaves with genes of the iridoid biosynthetic pathway", mentored by Dr. Milica Milutinović, Research Associate at the IBISS and Prof. Dr. Aneta Sabovljević, Full Professor at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Biology.

The award ceremony will took place on January 30 at the library of the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering.
