At the invitation of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Serbia, the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS), in cooperation with the PANDA organization and the Joint Chinese-Serbian Laboratory, participated in the event “Feeling China in Serbia” organized to mark the 70th anniversary of friendship between China and Serbia, on Sunday May 25th, 2025.

During the event, IBISS presented the results of its long-standing scientific cooperation with Chinese institutes, which has lasted for more than a decade. Visitors were introduced to joint research projects carried out in collaboration between IBISS and the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), as well as the initiatives that led to the establishment of the PANDA organization and the Joint Chinese-Serbian Laboratory.

In addition to the scientific segment, visitors had the opportunity to explore broader aspects of Chinese-Serbian cooperation through cultural and technological exhibits, as well as Chinese cuisine, including interactive workshops that further enriched the event’s program.
