As part of the Joint Venture consisting of IBISS, the Jaroslav Černi Water Institute, and Gruner Balkans, researchers from the Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection and the Department of Ecology will participate in the Study on Sediment, Water, and Biota in the Sava River Basin.

The key objective of the project is to provide a significant contribution to the further understanding of sediment-related issues in the Sava River Basin and to better understand the interactions between water, sediment, and biota, in support of the implementation of the Protocol on Sediment Management. The project is founded by the International Sava River Basin Commission.
