Mladen Rajaković
Mladen Rajaković was born on July 10, 1996, in Šabac, Serbia. As a student of the generation, he finished the Secondary Agricultural School in Šabac in 2015. Mladen then pursued higher education and obtained his BSc in Biochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences in Novi Sad in 2020, defending his bachelor thesis entitled "Synthesis of a protected C-nucleoside with a trifluoroacetamide function and NMR study of intramolecular hydrogen bonding." In 2021, Mladen successfully defended his master thesis titled "Synthesis and antiproliferative activity of monomethyldefenilated analogs of goniofufuron," earning the title of Master in Biochemistry. He continued his academic journey by joining the PhD program in Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, in the academic year 2022/23. Mladen's professional experience includes working as a Data Analyst at PLANet Systems Group from 2021 to 2022. Since December 2022, he is employed as a Junior Research Assistant at the Department of Plant Physiology at the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković," National Institute of the Republic of Serbia. Mladen's research interests encompass instrumental analysis of organic compounds, analytical data processing and food chemistry. He actively participated in various conferences and programs, such as the XXII Congress of European Food Chemistry, PANDA Training program, 4th Annual PANDA Conference, International Conference on Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology for Young Scientists and the Science Festival 2023. Additionally, Mladen is a member of the Serbian Biochemical Society and the Serbian Young Chemists Club.
