Dr. Danijela Paunović, Research Associate at the Department of Plant Physiology, Institute for Biological Research „Siniša Stanković“ – National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade (IBISS) is one of the winners of the Goran Ljubijankić Foundation Award for the best PhD thesis in Molecular Biology in 2022.

Dr. Danijela Paunović receive the award for her thesis entitled "Identification of AGP genes in centaury (Centaurium erythraea, Gentianaceae) and monitoring of their expression in response to tissue mechanical wounding in vitro". The research was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Milan Dragićević, Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" - National Institute of the Republic of Serbia, University of Belgrade and Dr. Ivana Dragićević, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.

The award ceremony will take place on January 30, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the library of the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Genetic Engineering.
