In the framework of the project "EU for the Green Agenda in Serbia", implemented by UNDP with the financial support of the European Union, in partnership with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and in cooperation with the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Project "Biodegradation of Plastics-Establishing an Incubator Center (Phase I)" was awarded on February 20, 2023.
This innovative solution for one of the areas of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans: circular economy - conservation and better use of natural resources, is the result of cooperation between the private company Belinda animals doo (responsible party) and the Department of Insect physiology and biochemistry of the Institute for biological research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS), National Institute of Republic of Serbia.
This solution is one of the best project proposals submitted in response to the "The challenge for innovative solutions in the field of circular economy" and is financially supported thanks to #EUZelenaAgendaRS
