"Cell for everyone - TikTok, the cell clock is ticking" is a series of pop-science workshops organized by scientists from the Department of Cytology for school children in rural parts of Serbia, in cooperation with CPN.
All living things live in line with the day/night rhythm - where is our biological clock located in the brain, how does it align with the day and night shift, how glands that secrete hormones key to entering sleep and awaking look like under a microscope, and how does it all affect the functioning of all living cells and their cell cycle - how the cells know when it is time to divide and when is the time to die.
