A Bioinformatics course was held in the IBISS library from January 15 to January 19, 2024, for Institute researchers. The course was taught by Dr. Thomas Mohr.

Dr. Thomas Morh is the director of ScienceConsult, with expertise in bioinformatics, primarily in molecular analyses. He is a lecturer and researcher at the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Medical University of Vienna, Austria, and a member of the IBISS International Advisory Board. Dr. Thomas Morh is an expert in applying state-of-the-art techniques and he supports the work of the Institute with a cutting-edge gateway for various bioinformatics analyses.

Based on the feedback from the participants, the course was extremely successful. Advanced participants as well as those with basic knowledge of bioinformatics had the opportunity to acquire new knowledge. The course was organized very flexibly in accordance with the needs of the participants, which proved to be an effective approach for the exchange of bioinformatics knowledge.
