On Friday, May 29, 2026, 79 years of work and existence of the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" was celebrated.

The Director of the Institute, Dr. Mirjana Mihailović, addressed the colleagues, highlighting the most significant achievements and successes of the Institute during the previous year, with a message of support for the further development and progress of the Institute.

During the celebration, plaques were traditionally presented to the new doctors of science, as well as prizes in the internal photo competition.

This year's new doctors of science are: Katarina Tešović, Katarina Erić, Ana Radmilović, Sofija Stupar, Luka Petrović, Miloš Vratarić and Dimitrije Sekulić.

The winners of the photo contest are: Dr. Maja Ajduković, Dr. Jelena Dinić i Dunja Milunović.
