On Friday, May 31, 2024, 77 years of work and the existence of the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" was celebrated. Traditionally, the Institute organized a festivity with a scientific and festive part of the program.
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a meeting of our researchers with colleagues from the Institute of Biotechnology and Health of the Beijing Academy of Science and Technology was held at the Institute.
The international patent application of IBISS „WO2024107075 - Hybrid Compounds of Sclareol and Doxorubicin, Their Synthesis and Application“, by the researchers of the Department of Neurobiology, Dr. Milica Pešić and Ana Stepanović, has been published.
In the library of the IBISS, on May 20, 2024, a ceremony was held to mark the 15th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement for Science and Technology between the People's Republic of China and Serbia, as three years of successful work of the Chinese-Serbian Joint Laboratory "Belt and Road", founded by the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) and IBISS.
