The Serbian Association for Cancer Research (SDIR) at the The third SDIR Scientific days, held on April 25, 2024, at the Oncology Institute of Vojvodina in Sremska Kamenica, University of Novi Sad, awarded the annual prize for the best cancer research publication in 2023 to Dr. Sofija Jovanović Stojanov from the Department of Neurobiology, IBISS.

On 16th May 2024, the IBISS hosted the Third meeting of International Advisory Board. The meeting was attended by Board Members Dr. Marianne Roth, Dr. Matijaž Polak, Dr. Stathis Gonos, National Consultant on the behalf of the SAIGE Project Dr. Aleksandar Belić, Director Dr. Mirjana Mihailović and Assistant Director Dr. Momir Paunović, IBISS.
