"Diversity and genetic variability of the Simuliidae family (Insecta: Diptera) in the area of the Balkan Peninsula"

Center for the Promotion of Science has announced a public call for applications for financial support for science promotion and popularization projects. Out of a total of 112 received project proposals for category 2 of the public call, funding was approved for ten projects (9% pass rate), and two projects were approved for the colleagues of the Department of Evolutionary Biology and Department of Hidroecology and Water Protection.
On Friday, April 21, the Institute had the honor of hosting His Excellency Leyda Ernesto Rodríguez Hernández, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Serbia. This visit was organized in order to establish cooperation between IBISS and scientific institutions in Cuba.
The Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković" has published the new book "The First Catalog of Moth and Butterfly Fauna of Serbia (Lepidoptera Linnaeus, 1758)" by Professor Predrag Jakšić.
