Foreign Agricultural Service of United States Department of Agriculture (FAS USDA) on June 14, 2022 organized virtual workshop on Inovative Biotechnology, with participants from US, Italy, Greece, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Hertzegovina, Ghana and Nigeria. In this workshop two scientists from IBISS participated as lecturers.

Dr. Aleksej Tarasjev gave short overview of biotechnology and biosafety in Serbia with special emphasis on synthetic biology and Dr. Uroš Savković, as the project leader, gave presentation of IDEA project "ELEVATE: Experimental evolution approach in developing insect pest control methods”.
