As part of the activities of the STRIMHealth project to improve translational research in the field of metabolic diseases, we are pleased to announce the course Translational Research in Metabolic Dysfunction–Associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD), which will take place on April 7, 2025 at the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković", Belgrade, Serbia. Participation is possible both on-site at the IBISS library and online.
Dr. Nataša Veličković, coordinator of the STRIMHealth project, participated as an invited speaker in the lecture series organized within the PFAStwin project. Her lecture “The Impact of PFAS on the Development of Metabolic Diseases,” was held on March 18 in the Small Hall of the Kolarac Foundation.
The two-day online workshop, organized within the STRIMHealth project to strengthen collaboration between IBISS and European universities, has been successfully completed.
On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, the conference "Scientific research projects tailored to business - experiences and opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry" was held at the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. During the meeting, Dr. Ana Đorđević presented the potential of IBISS for cooperation with the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the ongoing collaborative UTRL project "LiverDophilus - Probiotic bacteria for the treatment of liver steatosis", which is funded through SAIGE and realized through the cooperation between IBISS, IMGGI and the pharmaceutical company Phytonet.
