On April 12th, 2024, the official opening of the exhibition "Amphibians of the Smederevo Region" was held by Dr. Aleksandar Urošević, a senior scientific associate of the Institute for Biological Research Siniša Stanković, and Dr. Gordana Paunović, museum advisor of the Museum in Smederevo.
At the Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković", on April 8th, 2024, a triple contract was signed between IBISS, the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), and the Wuhan Institute of Industrial Innovation and Development (WHIIID). The contract was signed by the director of IBISS, Dr. Mirjana Mihailović, the deputy director of SIMM, prof. Ye Yang, and WHIIID Director, Li Xiling.
Scientific meeting dedicated to prof. Dr. Nadi Pejnović, immunologist and former president of our Society, was held at IBISS on April 3rd, 2024. The lectures were given by her colleagues with whom she collaborated during her rich scientific career at the Academy of Medical Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine in Kragujevac, and IBISS.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Miroslav Simić, one of the founders of immunological research in our country, a meeting was held at the Institute about the development of immunology at IBISS, the Faculty of Medicine, as well as within the Society of Immunologists of Serbia.
