On Thursday, June 16, 2022 the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” - National Institute for the Republic of Serbia (IBISS), University of Belgrade, had the honor to host representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, First Secretary Shi Yi and Third Secretary Li Rui. On that occasion, talks were held on the continuation of cooperation within the Pan-Balkan Alliance for Natural Products and the discovery of new drugs - PANDA and the Joint Laboratory "One Belt, One Road".
The 12th workshop of European Drosophila Population Genomics Consortium (DrosEU) is taking place June 13 - 14 in Institute for Biological Research "Siniša Stanković". The workshop is organized in hybrid format (in-person and with remote attendees) via Zoom platform and limited only for registered consortium members .
Researchers from the Department of Neurobiology at IBISS will participate in the SASA strategic project "Biomedical potential of diterpenes newly isolated from latex of milkweeds (Euphorbia L.) wild-growing in Serbia" - MilkIng, which will be realized over the next three years. The principal investigator of the project is academician prof. Dr. Slobodan Milosavljević, and the participants from the Laboratory of Neuro-Oncology include Dr. Milica Pešić, Dr. Ana Podolski-Renić, Dr. Jelena Dinić, Ana Kostić and Ema Lupšić.
Međunarodni časopis Insects je povodom Svetskog dana pčela odabrao deset zapaženih radova posvećenih pčelama. Među njima se našao i rad projekta SERBHIWE prvog autora naše dr Marije Tanasković.

The third Belgrade Bioinformatics Conference - BelBI2021, will be organized as a virtual event, from 21st to 25th June, 2021.
BelBI2021 is an international event, organized by the several research institutions, faculties and scientific societies from Serbia.
